Bio

California has always called to me. It is the light. Growing up in Milwaukee I first visited in 1960 with my family. After living in many places I finally moved to San Francisco in 1974. Shifting from my career as a teacher of French I began making art and attended the California College of the Arts in Oakland. With studios in Berkeley and Yorkville (Mendocino County) I have been capturing the California light through explorations in Oil, Watercolor and Collage using Figurative, Landscape and Still Life imagery. I live with my husband, son and Labrador Retreiver collecting images of light and translating them, through love, into art.
